Sometimes things happen and we need to change or cancel tours. We always attempt to reschedule so you don't miss out but occasionally the spirits throw us challenges that we can't control. We aim to be fair and ask you to be aware of the terms and conditions below to understand what you have agreed to when you book an amazing adventure with Just Over the Hills.

The Legal Bits

We understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise resulting you in you having to cancel your place on a tour. We aim to be fair but we can’t fill cancelled places on tours at short notice so we strongly recommend travel insurance to cover your costs should you need to withdraw from a tour.  See details below.

Tour booking  & Cancellation Fees
  • Booking deposit – 20% of tour cost
  • Your booking deposit reserves a place on the tour, the remaining balance of the tour fee is due 90 days prior to departure, which will then confirm your place on the tour
  • If you cancel more than 45 days prior to the departure date, 75% of the total tour booking fee is refunded
  • If you cancel between 30 and 45 days prior to the departure date, 25% of the total tour fee is refunded
  • If you cancel less than 30 days prior to the tour departure date, there is NO refund
  • If you need to leave during a tour, there is NO refund
Other Booking Conditions
  • Tours will be either confirmed or cancelled 90 days prior to departure date
  • Per vehicle cost is for up to 2 occupants per vehicle
  • All care is taken for the safety of vehicles and occupants, however all passengers and vehicles participate at their own risk

  • We strongly recommend insurance for vehicle recovery along with travel insurance including medical evacuation
  • We reserve the right to cancel or alter tours for the safety of participants and for any unforeseen events
